Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract
ORIGEN
Vegetal. Calendula is an aromatic plant with yellow flowers with orange and reddish hues.

Natural Cosmetics. It is a flower with very rich in nutrients for the skin as it contains carotenoids (which have vitamin A activity), terpenes, flavonoids and Vitamin C (powerful antioxidant agent) and vitamin E. The Romans called it “solsequium”, which means “that follows the sun”, an action of marigold flowers such as sunflowers.

- Regenerative. Calendula extracts act on the skin providing a wide variety of soothing and repairing properties thanks to its relaxing and anti-inflammatory effect, which is very beneficial for sensitive skin or reactive skins. it reduces irritation and act against allergic skin, dermatitis, vitiglio and rosacea.
- Elasticity. Calendula helps to increase the flexibility and elasticity of the skin in the most delicate and sensitive skin areas (this is the case around the eyes), as it contains carotenoids (which have vitamin A activity).
- Anti-aging. Calendula contains propylene glycol that helps reduce the effects of aging on the skin caused by free radicals.
- Cleaner. It contains very good skin cleansing properties when formulated into a make-up remover.
- Protector. Thanks to its vitamin E, it provides protection and nutrition to the cells, leaving the skin more luminous.
