ORIGEN

Vegetal. Lavender is a pinkish and purple plant that, together with its spiky appearance, makes it easily distinguishable from other species. It is a very common flower in the Mediterranean area.

Natural cosmetics. It is a plant that contains more than 50 components, among which can be mention linalool, camphor, ferulic acid, tannins and linalyl acetate. Lavander is essential in cosmetology. Its name comes from the latin lavere because in the past it was added to bath water to better sleep.

  • Regenerative. Lavender oil acts as a good skin regenerator thanks to the presence of its tannins. Tannins also act astringent and anti-inflammatory.
  • Relieving. Lavender has small doses of camphor that act as soothing to the skin.
  • Protector. The ability of lavender to fight viruses and bacteria, and therefore infections of all kinds, has been widely demonstrated. It can serve us perfectly to treat skin infections, but also to prevent them.
  • Tonning. In formulation in toner it favors the toning of the skin, it combats the effects of oily skin.
  • Anti-aging. Its content in phenolic acids has positive effects as skin antioxidants that protect cells from free radicals.
  • Relaxing. In formulation in essential oils, it promotes relaxation with its nice fragrance.
